I’m Priyanka – a hairstylist & make-up artist based out of Mumbai (India).
Here’s a quick “little” on my professional life thus far: I began my career at seventeen having trained under – Kanta Motwani (Kromakay Salons, Mumbai), and went on to hone my skills at Vidaal Sassoon & Kevin Fortune Hairstyling Academy (London, UK).
2009 brought me my first break in Bollywood, when I got the opportunity to work with Priyanka Chopra. Since then, I’ve had the privilege & pleasure of working with some of the most respected & talented names in the Indian Film industry. When I’m not on set, I help with the running of my mum’s salon – ‘Beyond Beauty‘ in Mumbai.
Hairstyling for me, is more than just a profession – it is my “being”. It is this passion that has earned me opportunities to showcase my skills across industries & categories including Advertising, Editorial & Fashion features (in publications such as Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar & Grazia), Bridals, and Red Carpet appearances for some of the most vivacious celebrities & personalities on the planet.
Having spent almost two decades as a Hairstylist, I was recently invited to share my experiences through a series of Collaborations & Masterclasses with brands such as Dyson, Livon and Matrix to name a few.
I have always believed that “learning is growing”, and that’s the one thing that should never stop. This love for learning led me to expand my horizons, and enrol myself in The Inclover Institute of Make-Up & Styling (Berlin, Germany) in 2019. Thanks to this education, I’m able to compliment my hairstyling with professional make-up! (link to work – Make Up)
